Privada No.9 from Drew Estate

This is Steve
Saka from Drew Estate's personal cigar that he said
would never
make it to full production because of the scarcity of the tobaccos
used to make it.
However, he
has made enough to give a handful of stores a shot at selling it
while it lasts.
Now this full
bodied baby may not be available for long, but we have some in
stock
in Danbury
and you should really
give it a try. We smoked it in August and WOW, what a
cigar!
Who knows,
maybe Steve has more than he is telling us and they will keep
shipping more, but he made us sign
a 4 page
contract and only gave it to like 2 stores in Connecticut, so
its a rary!!!!!

We are one of only 30 retailers in the nation to get
these cigars. I don't know what to say, but thanks to Altadis for
putting their trust in us to bring these cigars to
market.
I took this excerpt from www.cigarpad.com
Jose Seijas is the man behind the
Montecristo, H. Upmann, and Romeo y Julieta lines, all distributed
by Altadis,
USA,
the largest cigar company in the world. With
those sorts of credentials, Seijas is an authority on quality
cigars.
The Jose Seijas
Signature Series 2000 features an Ecuadorian wrapper, Dominican
binder, and Dominican, Peruvian, and Nicaraguan filler tobacco, all
of which has been aged for three years. The 6 ½
inch, 52 ring gauge cigars are then assembled by Seijas’ best
rollers to ensure a well constructed smoke.
Presented in a leather wrapped cedar box, complete with piano
hinges and removable cedar trays, the Seijas Signature cigars exude
elegance even before being removed from the box.
After being removed from their box, the cigars maintain their
elegance through their Davidoff-reminiscent gold-on-white bands, and
the cigar’s silky sheen. Adding to the allure is
the cigar’s distinct shape – the Seijas starts with a 44 ring gauge
at the head, which expands to a 52 gauge at the foot, which then
quickly tapers down to an open nipple shape for lighting. The cigar
has a nice even texture with a firm, though not hard feel to
it.
Unfortunately, the
Jose Seijas Signature Series 2000 cigars were produced in limited
quantity, and are only available through 11 (now 30) nationwide
retailers. Due to the quality of the cigar, the
short supply, and the limited availability, Jose Seijas Signature
sticks will typically run about $15 per cigar – if you can find
them. If you are lucky enough to find a shop that
carries the Seijas cigars, it would certainly be worth picking up a
few to age in the humidor for a while and to save for special
occasions. If you can get an entire box, you
won’t be disappointed by the presentation or the fine quality of the
Jose Seijas Signature Series 2000 cigars.
Our final score for the
Jose Seijas Signature Series 2000 cigars is:
90.
I have 2 sizes in stock right now
with the other 5 to follow...... 'nuff said!
CAO
Vision
The new CAO Vision, CAO's
first Dominican Cigar is now available in 3 sizes. Thank you to CAO
for making us one of the first 200 retailers in the nation to get
this puppy!
In July 2006, CAO unveiled their first Dominican-made line of
cigars at the Retail Tobacco Dealers of America convention in Las
Vegas. These premium cigars are finally available! CAO
Vision cigars are made with Dominican wrappers and a blend of
Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian filler tobaccos. The cigars are
packaged in a desktop/travel humidor that was designed to maintain
an ideal humidity level. The humidor also includes a digital
hygrometer, and LED's that light up when the box is opened. The
cigars are available in three sizes, and each humidor/box will
contain 20 cigars. Available at our Danbury location and soon at
Newtown and Gaylordsville. Sorry, we cannot quote prices due to
contract limitations we have agreed to in order to get this cigar.
Stop by and see this wild new concept box and try this limited
edition cigar!
